The Department of International Grants and Contracts at the Silk Road International University of Tourism coordinates, supports, and develops the university’s international cooperation in the fields of scientific research, education, and innovation, as well as within the framework of foreign economic relations.

The main goals and objectives of the department include:

  • Developing and enhancing the university’s international scientific-practical, pedagogical, and economic ties;

  • Registering and managing cooperation agreements with foreign universities and organizations;

  • Organizing foreign economic relations, including attracting international students under contract, establishing joint ventures, and conducting commercial activities;

  • Systematic study and monitoring of international grants and contracts offered by various funds, organizations, and institutions;

  • Preparing applications, project documentation, and other materials for participation in grants and tenders, as well as managing the submission process;

  • Maintaining reporting and control over the use of received grants and contracts, and ensuring stable communication with donors and partners;

  • Analyzing the participation of the university’s structural units in scientific research and educational grants, as well as monitoring the implementation of supported projects;

  • Implementing best international practices in grant activities and international partnerships.

The department’s functions include:

  • organizing and participating in international online and offline events;

  • providing informational support on grants, projects, and educational opportunities;

  • recommending staff and students for participation in international programs;

  • hosting foreign delegations and coordinating joint meetings;

  • preparing and supporting grant initiatives;

  • managing official correspondence and document flow;

  • and developing proposals to expand international cooperation.

The Department of International Grants and Contracts plays a key role in promoting the university on the international stage, facilitating integration into the global educational and scientific community, as well as attracting external funding and expert support.
