On May 5–6, 2025, a "Minister's Cup" competition in the sport of Kurash was held at the sports complex of the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute. The team from the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage participated in the competition and won in the 66 kg, 73 kg, and 81 kg weight categories.
Today, on May 7, a concert program by the famous “Rumah Angklung feat Arunika Angklung” jazz band was held in the assembly hall of the ''Silk Road'' International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, in cooperation with the Embassy of Indonesia in Tashkent.
