Our university’s “Department of Translation Studies (Written and Oral)” lecturer, Charos Hamdamova, has successfully completed a retraining course consisting of a total of 576 hours on the topic “Organization of Excursion Services,” organized by the Samarkand Center for Retraining of Personnel in the Fields of Tourism and Economics of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the direction of Samarkand city, Samarkand region, and Shahrisabz city.

The administration, faculty, and students of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” visited the “Museum of Remembrance of Victims of Repression” in Samarkand to honor the memory of the victims of repression.
An online lecture was delivered by the faculty members of the “History and Cultural Heritage” Department of our university to the team of Northwest University in China, in order to implement Clause 14 of the Resolution No. PQ-19 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2024. The lecture was conducted by Associate Professor Mastura Sidikova.
On September 26, 2025, at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage the September month was declared the “Month of Ecological Innovations and Ecological Culture” in order to ensure the implementation of the tasks outlined in the Order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 228 dated June 19, 2025.
