According to the relevant order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the winter holiday period for students and pupils of higher, secondary specialized and vocational education institutions (state, non-state and foreign) as well as academic lyceums has been determined for the current academic year.Accordingly, the winter holidays will start on December 28, 2025 and will continue until January 10, 2026 (inclusive).To facilitate students’ and pupils’ travel to their permanent places of residence (the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the city of Tashkent) during the winter holiday period, additional opportunities will be created in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, “Uzbekistan Railways” JSC, and “Uzbekistan Airways” JSC.In line with this, from December 18, 2025 to January 12, 2026 (inclusive), train and flight tickets will be sold to students and pupils with a 50% discount.
