Today, on November 29 of this year, on the basis of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage is being held the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference "Russian language and culture in the focus of modern educational technologies" organized with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

Speakers from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Estonia, Finland, Slovakia, Spain, Slovenia, Mongolia and other countries presented the best practices of organizing and functioning of Open Education Centers in Russian and teaching Russian, as well as innovative technologies in teaching Russian as a foreign language.

Teachers of Russian language and literature of Uzbekistan also took an active part in the conference in online and offline.

The organizers of this Conference are the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Omsk State University named after F.M. Dostoevsky (Russia, Omsk) and the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The project partner is the Pushkin State Institute of the Russian Language (Moscow, Russia).

On November 27 of this year, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Croatia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Refik Shabanovich paid an official visit to the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

During the meeting, Mr. R.Shabanovich  was introduced to the unique Smart Campus and Innovative Library of the University. Were discussed numbers of issues related to the implementation of joint projects in the field of tourism. Thus, the Embassy expressed its readiness to organize partnerships for the “Silk Road” University with various universities in Croatia and also large world-class Travel Companies. At the end of visit Mr.R.Shabanovich  held a guest lecture for the students of the University.

On November 26 of this year, a group of third-year and fourth-year students of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage visited “Mondelux” Тrade Сenter and its factory  in Samarkand district. The excursion was organized by Bekzodjon Oblakulov, the lecturer of the University who teaches Marketing Courses. 

The employees of the factory introduced the students to the aspects of the main stages of selling process, from taking an order, and to distributing furniture.

The excursion started at Shopping Center. Then the students viewed the Technological and Hand-made furniture that was made in the production areas.

The Administration of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage thanks Zarshed Ubaydullayev -the main Manager of the Trading Center and other employees of the “Mondelux” company, who took part in organizing the excursion.

On November 27 of this year, the "Cup of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was held at the "Silk Road" University, aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and further development of mass sports.

This  tournament was organized in order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 6099 of October 30, 2020 "On measures for the widespread introduction of a healthy lifestyle and the further development of mass sports", Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 735 of November 19, 2020 "On measures to support a healthy lifestyle and increase physical activity", as well as in connection with the announcement of the month "Youth Forum of Uzbekistan-2021" in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that the "Cup of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan" is organized in such areas as:

- mini football;

- chess;

- badminton;

- arm wrestling;

- quest.

According to the approved schedule, 18 students took part in badminton competitions (10 boys and 8 girls), 90 students - football, 20 - chess (12 boys and 8 girls), 25 - arm wrestling (19 boys and 6 girls), 21 - quest (11 boys and 10 girls), a total of 174students (32 of them girls) were involved.

Among those who took part in the Competition were students of such higher educational institutions as the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, Urgench State University, Ferghana State University, Bukhara State University, Karakalpak State University, Karshi State University, as well as students of the "Silk Road"International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The final stage of mini football was held on the territory of a Specialized children's and youth sports school for playing sports and athletics (in a closed Hall).

The "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage hosted the final games in badminton, chess and arm wrestling.

Quest competitions were held on Registan Square, during which University students passed tests, solving various puzzles and logic tasks.

At the end of the sports competitions started the official part of the program of the "Cup of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan"– a solemn speech by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Rector of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage  Aziz Abdukhakimov and an Award Ceremony for the winners in all sports presented.

It is worth noting that the final stage of the "Cup of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan" is held with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Khokimiyat of the Samarkand region and the Main Department of Tourism and Sports of the Samarkand region.

- свидетельство о знании иностранного языка (В2 и выше), выданное Государственным центром тестирования в соответствии с требованиями Постановления Кабинета Министров Республики Узбекистан от 11 августа 2017 года № 610 «О мерах по дальнейшему повышению качества», обучение иностранному языку в образовательных учреждениях «Эквивалентность владения английским языком» (IELTS-6.5, TOEFL 575, сертификат уровня владения языком для специалистов, прошедших обучение и обучение за рубежом);

- иметь опыт работы в сфере образования не менее 3 лет, хорошие компьютерные навыки;

- уметь хранить документы, относящиеся к отрасли;

- при необходимости выезжать в командировки;

- личные качества: смелость, активность, ответственность, настойчивость

On November 26, 2021, was held the Uzbek-Korean Symposium on “Sustainable Management of Cultural Heritage in Uzbekistan” at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Agency of Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, the Administration of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation organized this event.

The symposium is dedicated to the completion of the first stage of the project “Increasing the potential and improving the material and technical base of the museum in Uzbekistan”, implemented by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports jointly with the Republic of Korea.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Rector of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov, Director General of the Heritage Promotion Bureau of the Cultural Heritage Administration of the Republic of Korea and Ken Hoon, program Manager of the Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation Kim Dong Ha and Deputy Director General of the ODA for Cultural Heritage John Bamhwan, heads of museums and galleries of Uzbekistan, as well as leading industry experts.

For information: Within the framework of the first stage of the project on a grant basis in the amount of 700 thousand US dollars:

- A modern Laboratory for the study and restoration of archaeological finds has been created in the State Museum of Cultural History of Uzbekistan;

- Master classes were held for specialists in the field and 95 exhibits were restored;

- A room in the Afrosiyob Museum has been renovated, where wall paintings are displayed;

Also, within the framework of the program, a modern textbook was developed for specialists of Uzbekistan on the restoration and preservation of Museum Exhibits and Archaeological Finds.

During this event, special attention was paid to such topics as:

-Strategic development of museum conservation in Uzbekistan;

-Excavations and scientific analysis of Afrosiyob wall paintings;

-Restoration and management of Cultural Heritage objects in the territory of the Samarkand region;

- Cooperation between Korea and Uzbekistan for the sustainable preservation of Cultural Heritage.

Within the framework of the symposium, took place the presentation of the exhibition “Restoration and reconstruction of museum exhibits and archaeological finds”, developed jointly with Korean specialists.

Currently, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports is finalizing the issue of allocating additional technical assistance (about 255 thousand US dollars) for the supply of special equipment for X-ray composition and analysis of archaeological finds to the laboratory of the Samarkand State Museum-Reserve, as well as the preparation of the II stage of the main project for 2022-2026 (3.8 million US dollars).

For the first time, the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage will organize the “Cup of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, in which students from all over Uzbekistan will be able to test their strength in various sports.

The competitions will be held within the framework of the practical implementation of five initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev, in which sports, education, culture and upbringing play a very important role, to create conditions for organizing leisure activities for young people of Uzbekistan. And also, in connection with the announcement the “Month of Youth” in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is worth noting that the “Cup of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan” is organized in such sports as:
-football;
-chess;
-badminton;
-arm wrestling;
- quest.

Within the framework of the upcoming “Cup of the Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, on November 26 of this year, a round table with the participation of a working group is being held at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, where the issues of the competition itself are considered: registration of participants and drawing lots, the procedure for the grand opening of the competition, the duties of judges to monitor compliance with the rules of the game in all sports, the procedure for summing up the results of the competition.

28-30 ноября 2021 года в Самарканде, на базе Международного университета туризма и культурного наследия «Шелковый путь», пройдёт I Международная научно-практическая конференция «Русский язык и культура в фокусе современных образовательных технологий», организованная при поддержке Министерства просвещения РФ.

 Докладчики из России, Узбекистана, Киргизии. Казахстана, Армении, Республики Беларусь, Эстонии, Финляндии, Словакии, Испании, Словении, Монголии и других стран представят лучшие практики организации и функционирования Центров открытого образования на русском языке и обучения русскому языку, а также инновационные технологии в преподавании русского языка как иностранного.

Активное участие в конференции примут представители программ «Российский учитель за рубежом» и «Класс!», преподаватели вузов и центров открытого образования на русском языке, учителя русского языка и литературы Узбекистана.  Уже сейчас оргкомитет получил более 300 заявок, в т.ч. и с участием в дистанционном формате.

Предметом обсуждения на круглых столах и дискуссионных площадках станут современные инновационные методики обучения русскому языку как иностранному, успешный опыт организации преподавания русского языка за рубежом, вопросы межкультурного взаимодействия.
