International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated all over the world on October 11. The determining role in the professional activity of any specialist is played by the professional skills of a person in using their theoretical knowledge in practice, on which, in particular, the effectiveness of the work performed depends.

In order to improve the quality of the educational process for the study of the hotel industry, the lecturer of the Department of Tourism Management E. Gulomkhasanov conducted practical classes at the “Malika classic hotel” in Samarkand for students of the groups Hot-219, Mar-219, Tour-119, Hot-119 of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

During the practical classes, students studied the features of basic and additional services in hotels, and also considered the principle of the interior of hotels.

The students got acquainted with the work of each individual segment of the hotel industry, approached the practical lesson with interest and responsibility.

Applicants who have scored a minimum qualification score (56.7) in tests registered and conducted through the platform of the State Testing Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan https://my.dtm.uz/ , but those who have not scored enough points to the limit of the recommendation line, can be recommended as students on a fee-based basis, subject to strict compliance with the sequence of points for vacant places within the university admission quota.

(When registering on the platform of the State Testing Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the applicant must indicate the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage as his choice).

We remind you that studying at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage is carried out in English, so during the admission process it is necessary to obtain valid certificates of leading international and assessment systems of the English language, including at least 5.0 points on IELTS and above, at least B1 and above on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) a high score is awarded to international certificates with an indicator of the level of knowledge, as well as, in accordance with the requirements of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 11, 2017 No.610 “On measures to further improve the quality of teaching foreign languages in educational institutions”, documents of applicants with a certificate of proficiency in English (B1 and higher) provided by the State Testing Center are accepted.

On October 4 of this year, Professor, Regional Executive Director (ASEAN) of the Amity Global Institute (Singapore) Leon Choong held a guest lecture on the topic: “Study opportunities in Singapore” for students of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

During the lecture, Professor Choong spoke in detail about Singapore, which has a public education system and is one of the best in the world. The main language of instruction is English, in order to consolidate a multinational state and join the global world as soon as possible.

The professor also noted that the Ministry of Education of Singapore implements various university funding schemes, thanks to which foreign students have the opportunity to significantly reduce tuition costs. Also, almost all universities in Singapore implement their own scholarship programs, which can be found on the website of a particular educational institution.

At the end of the lecture, the students received answers to their questions.

On October 4 of this year, professor, diplomat, top manager, coach, President of the International Institute of Youth Aniset Gabriel Kochofa held a guest lecture on the topic: Leadership Architecture “How to create international projects and build a global career FROM the CLASSICS to the METAVERSE”.

During the lecture, students learned in detail about the methods of an international career, the practices of creating and managing large projects, the construction of which began from absolute zero, in difficult times.

He also informed the students about the success stories of outstanding international projects and personalities.

One example will be the biography of Gabriel himself, who told about:

• Why you need to strive for the global stage;
• How to build everything from scratch and keep the balance;
• Why money is not the main thing, but how to achieve amazing results in the material and spiritual senses;
• Which helps to quickly master several professions and languages;
• How to accumulate knowledge, invest competently, effectively train and motivate others;
• Where to look for like-minded people and partners.

Conducting these lectures provided students with an excellent chance to get acquainted with the experience of Gabriel Kochof. At the end of the lecture, the students received answers to their questions.

In the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek will be held an International Scientific-practical Conference on the topic "Education, training and implementation of innovative technologies in the field of physical education and sports: problems and solutions" on November 5-6, 2022.

The competition provides 226 places, 34 places for the undergraduate program, 95 places for the master's program, and 97 places for the doctoral program scholarship.

All the expenses for the education of students in foreign universities will be covered by the Fund.
