Tea ceremony, Sadoo, is a comprehensive, artistic culture of Japan. Through the ceremony, the guests learn the attention and care given to the choice of sweets, tea cups and the setting for them, and appreciate the hospitality of the host.
Japanese students who are staying in Samarkand made it possible to bring this traditional art of Japan to Uzbekistan. Recently, a tea ceremony was performed as an event of the Japanese club at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. The participants enjoyed the taste and colour of Japanese green tea (learned how GREEN they are).
