On March 15, 2022, representatives of the Italian Association “Assorestauro” of Architecture, Art and Urban Renewal and the Italian Trade Agency ITA visited the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the University building, equipped according to the latest standards of the most prestigious higher educational Institutions in the world. Special attention was paid to the educational and production complex, as well as the ultramodern Library, decorated in a modern design, and acting as a full-fledged high-tech center of tourist knowledge.

Also, at the Lecture Hall of the University for students, representatives of "Assorestauro" and ITA held presentations on the activities of their organizations, the Uzbek-Italian strategic partnership, high-level relations and mutually beneficial exchanges in various fields, opportunities for cooperation in the field of protection and restoration of cultural monuments, as well as their restoration and restoration.

Requirements for candidates:

- KPI or CV of the candidate in Uzbek, English and Russian-;

- excellent knowledge of Uzbek, English and Russian languages;

          In accordance with the requirements of the Cabinet of Ministers Decree No 610 of 11 August 2017 "On measures to further improve the quality of foreign language teaching in educational institutions" English language certificate (B2 or higher) or equivalent English language certificate (IELTS-6.5, TOEFL 575, language proficiency certificate for professionals who have taught and studied abroad); 

- At least 3 years of experience in education;

- Computer skills;

- Ability to maintain industry documentation;

- If necessary, travel on business trips;

On March 10 of this year, was held a presentation via ZOOM platform of new jobs created for students in the Samarkand Tourist Center. The event was attended by representatives of the Department for the Development of Education and Science in the Field of tourism and Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Samarkand Tourist Center and the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, as well as subordinate professional educational institutions that train personnel in the field of tourism.

During the presentation, were discussed the issues of employment of graduate students for vacant jobs in the Samarkand Tourist Center. Also, the responsible employees of the Tourist Center T.Golikova and A.Ktorov provided detailed information about the requirements for specialists who will be hired.

In order to implement the tasks of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to ensure the employment of students of higher educational institutions, on March 10 of this year, at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage was held a conference with the participation of the management of SAG.

The main goal of the event is to assist students and graduates of the University in finding employment, as well as assisting the employing company in the selection of promising young professionals.

During the event, graduates and students of the University were provided with information in various areas, as well as familiarized with the benefits and conditions of working in the company, staffing needs in temporary and permanent employment.

It should be noted that the conference was very interesting, were held interactive games and were drawn prizes, and also were organized master classes by leading specialists of the company.

As a result of today's event, many graduates received answers to all their questions.

For reference: SAG is the leading carpet and rug manufacturing company in Central Asia, which was founded in 2000. Today, in terms of production capacity, SAG is the largest enterprise in Central Asia and the CIS countries.

From March 7 to 17 this year, Head of the Department for Attracting International Grants of the "Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Ramazanov Sh. visited the cities of Paris and Ruan of France as part of the official delegation of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meetings, within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between the "Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Rouen Normandy University, a roadmap was developed for cooperation on joint management of scientific research and doctoral dissertations.

Also, a visit of leading specialists of the faculty of the Rouen Normandy University is planned to the “Silk Road” University.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached to conduct mutual research in the field of tourism and cultural heritage.

The Library is an integral part of the country and the nation, reflecting the human need for the accumulation and enhancement of knowledge, cultural and intellectual development.

At the initiative of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov, were replenished shelves of the Library with a collection of rare Cartographic Books.

Now, students can get acquainted with the latest editions of books that will help in educational activities and expand knowledge about the countries of the world, their form of government. The world map reflects the main political and geographical changes: the formation of new independent states, the change in their status, the merger and separation of states, the loss or acquisition of sovereignty, the change in the area of   states, the replacement of their capitals, the change in the names of states and capitals, the change in forms of government, etc..

We would like to express our deep gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov, who monthly makes a huge contribution to replenishing the Library fund of the University.

Today, on March 4, a festive concert under the motto "A country that honors women" was held in the assembly hall of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. This wonderful holiday was held by the joint efforts of the students, the teaching staff, as well as the university administration.

The program of the event was full of various performances of both students and the male half of the staff. Students of the University showed their best performances dedicated to women, girls, and, of course, mothers. Songs and dances warmed the audience with colorful performances, gave an amazing atmosphere and created the mood of a real holiday, because with each performance became more colorful and exciting.

Words of gratitude, congratulations and wishes addressed to those who fill our lives with their warmth, beauty and care were repeatedly heard from the stage. Everyone who was lucky enough to attend the festive concert today received a charge of joy, love and spring mood.

The concert was light and relaxed. All the wishes were so sincere that they made the women smile. This is the most important thing.

On March 3 this year, representatives of UNESCO, headed by the Secretary of the International Advisory Committee Tamara Teneishvili, visited the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

During the visit, Ms.Tamara Teneishvili highly appreciated the opportunities created for the students of the University, she also got acquainted with the ultra-modern Library, which contains rare editions of books on the History, Culture and Cultural Heritage not only of Asia, but the whole world.
