On February 10, 2026, officials of the Migration and Citizenship Registration Department of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs held a meeting with foreign students and professors studying at our university.
This meeting was dedicated to compliance by foreign citizens with the passport and visa regime rules of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the regulations governing the stay of foreign citizens in the territory of our country. During the event, participants were provided with detailed explanations about the main requirements of migration legislation, temporary registration, and the rights and obligations related to residence and study.
Officials also gave comprehensive answers to the questions raised by foreign students and provided important information regarding current procedures and document processing processes.
The meeting was held in the form of open dialogue and a question-and-answer session and was useful and meaningful for participants. The event contributed to increasing the culture of compliance with migration rules among foreign students.
