On February 24, the rector of our university, Muhsinjon Kholmukhamedov, held an important meeting dedicated to the implementation of the tasks set during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s dialogue with youth at the Kuksaroy residence. Responsible staff members who work directly and closely with students participated in the meeting, and the issues on the agenda were discussed in detail.
At the meeting, Rector M. Kholmukhamedov first focused on identifying students’ startup projects, providing them with comprehensive support, and allocating the necessary funding for these processes in a timely manner. In this regard, it was emphasized that cooperation with commercial banks should be established within the framework of the “Step into the Future” program in order to create a financing system for students’ business projects. It was also defined as a priority task to conduct individual and close dialogue with each student, listen to their problems and proposals.
Based on the new initiatives put forward during the President’s meeting with youth, important decisions were adopted. In particular, since Thursday has been designated as Youth Day each week, specific measures will also be developed at our university. From now on, responsible staff members will actively work with students every Thursday and systematically study their suggestions and needs.
In addition, it was planned to organize a number of meetings with business entities in the tourism sector in the format of open dialogue at the university. This will serve to enhance students’ practical skills and bring them closer to real production processes.
Another important development of the meeting was the establishment of a “Business Incubator” within the framework of the “My First Profession” project, which will unite student youth and provide practical assistance in launching business projects. This incubator will help strengthen the first steps of young entrepreneurs and support the implementation of their ideas.
The meeting also paid special attention to further improving the necessary conditions for students living in the university dormitory, creating a comfortable environment for their rest and study. It was emphasized that spiritual-educational and sports activities should be regularly organized among students, and their free time should be meaningfully arranged.
The timely and high-quality implementation of the assigned tasks will create a foundation for new achievements of our university students.
