On February 25, 2026, a roundtable discussion titled “A Safe Educational Environment and Professional Ethics of a Teacher” was organized at the university with the participation of male academic staff and employees.
During the meeting, issues related to maintaining safety and mutual respect within the educational process were discussed. Specialists paid particular attention to maintaining professional boundaries in teacher-student relationships, ensuring formal communication standards, and preventing personal relationships.
The Rector of the university, M. Kholmukhamedov, together with responsible staff members, emphasized that creating a healthy and safe environment in educational institutions is an urgent priority.
Participants were also provided with explanations on preventive mechanisms aimed at combating harassment and violence against women, the anonymous reporting system, and internal monitoring procedures. In addition, the importance of adhering to legality in professional duties and strengthening professional ethical standards among educators and staff was highlighted.
At the conclusion of the meeting, practical recommendations were developed to establish a sustainable and effective educational environment.
