Position title: Leading specialist in commercialization of scientific and innovative developments.

Education: Higher (with a PhD or Doctor of Science degree).

Specialization: Tourism, History, Marketing, Economics (additional points are given to candidates who graduated from universities on the TOP-1000 lists).

Work experience: Must have worked in the field of education and training for at least 3 years.

Level of foreign language proficiency: Knowledge of Russian and English. Possession of an IELTS 6.0 level in English or a CEFR B2 level certificate of foreign language proficiency issued by a state testing center.

Computer literacy: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point), office programs, ability to use the Internet and social networks, and practical skills in working on the Internet.

The scope of work and responsibilities of the position of leading specialist in the commercialization of scientific and innovative developments:

Identifying scientific research and innovative developments, assessing their commercial viability, and exploring commercialization opportunities;

Participation in the economic, legal and technical analysis of innovative projects;

Organization of work on the implementation and marketing of the results of scientific and innovative activities;

Presenting innovative projects to investors, companies and other stakeholders and developing partnerships with them;

Determining innovative directions based on analysis of market demands and trends in modern technologies;

Formation and updating of the base of scientific developments and technologies;

Developing opportunities for commercialization of inventions, patents and utility models;

Preparation and promotion of grant and investment projects to finance scientific research and development;

Participate in the development and implementation of plans and programs for commercialization projects;

Assistance in the certification, licensing and registration processes of products and technologies;

Presentation and promotion of scientific developments at innovative exhibitions, forums and events;

To have access to all information and documents necessary for the effective organization of one's activities;

Request and receive necessary support from department management and other departments to perform their duties;

Prepares and ensures the conclusion of contracts with authors of intellectual property objects stipulated by the legislation and monitors their implementation;

Together with other departments, the university carries out work on the formalization of the transfer of rights to intellectual property objects.;

Carries out work on collecting, storing and forming a database of data on the results of developments and scientific research activities (SRA) created by university scientists, and on the effective use of the results of intellectual activity;

Organizes expertise, analysis and assessment of the scientific-technical, scientific-methodological and innovative potential of SRA and innovation projects, identifies the most important and competitive developments;

Develops recommendations on intellectual property management, including the transfer and distribution of rights to SRA results at all stages of the innovation cycle;

SRA provides consulting services in the field of technology transfer, preparation of business plans for innovative projects, ensuring legal protection of results, and searching for potential investors.;

The university identifies the facts of illegal use of intellectual property objects and submits proposals to the administration for action aimed at eliminating the indicated violations and compensating for the damage caused;

Assists in protecting the university's intellectual property rights, as well as the property and personal non-property rights of authors;

organizes seminars and trainings in the field of intellectual property for university employees;

Prepares and submits proposals for discovery and patent-licensing activities, innovative entrepreneurship and technology transfer to the university budget project;

Develops documents on issues related to the use, creation, and protection of intellectual property objects.

To come up with initiatives related to one's service activities and participate in their implementation;

Familiarize yourself with regulatory and legal documents related to the activities of the department and demand their implementation;

Express independent opinions and conclusions when evaluating innovative projects;

Responsible for the proper analysis of scientific and innovative developments, determining their commercial value, and making recommendations;

Ensuring high-quality and timely implementation of commercialization projects;

Ensuring confidentiality of information on innovative projects;

Responsible for the preparation of timely and high-quality reports, analyses, and reports;

Compliance with labor discipline, internal labor regulations, collective agreement and labor protection rules, fire safety rules.
