A meeting with Evren Rutbil, Director of the International Institute for Central Asian Studies, was held at the university.
During the meeting, the Rector of the University, M. Kholmukhammedov, discussed opportunities for strengthening cooperation between the university and the research institute. The parties exchanged views on expanding research activities, implementing joint scientific projects, and enhancing academic collaboration.
As a result of the meeting, the sides agreed to implement joint research projects in tourism, archaeology, and cultural heritage. It was also agreed that the university’s faculty members and students would have the opportunity to use the institute’s scientific funds and research resources.
For reference, the International Institute for Central Asian Studies was established in 1995 and conducts research on the history, culture, and archaeology of countries located along the Silk Road.
