QUALITY POLICY OF THE “SILK ROAD” INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF TOURISM AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

Vision

“Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage (SRIUTCH) envisions becoming a leading institution in higher education by maintaining excellence in teaching, learning, research, and community engagement. Through continuous improvement, the university aims to cultivate an environment that fosters innovation, academic integrity, professional values, and inclusive growth.

Our mission is to create a culture of quality across all academic, administrative, and research activities. We aim to enhance the educational experience by continuously evaluating and improving our programs and services, ensuring they meet the highest international standards. SRIUTCH is committed to fostering student success and professional development while promoting ethical research and a positive societal impact.

Quality Policy

At SRIUTCH, we are committed to ensuring the highest standards of quality in every aspect of our operation. This commitment includes:

  • Encouraging research and innovation that addresses societal challenges and contributes to global knowledge.

SRIUTCH’s continuous quality enhancement approach focuses on:

Internal Quality Assurance System

The internal quality assurance system at SRIUTCH is comprehensive and cyclical. It ensures that all aspects of academic and administrative processes are regularly reviewed, and areas for improvement are identified. The system operates based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, ensuring continuous development in teaching, research, and university management.

  1. Planning: Identify goals and objectives aligned with SRIUTCH’s strategic vision and mission.

  2. Implementation: Develop and execute strategies to enhance academic quality, student services, research activities, and administrative procedures.

  3. Evaluation: Regularly assess the impact of strategies through internal reviews, feedback from students, staff, and external stakeholders, and benchmarking against global standards.

  4. Improvement: Use evaluation results to make informed decisions about the necessary adjustments and reforms.

Quality Improvement Committee (QIC)

SRIUTCH’s Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) is the core body responsible for maintaining and improving quality across the university. The QIC is made up of faculty members, administrators, student representatives, and external experts, ensuring a broad and balanced perspective in decision-making.

Responsibilities of the QIC:

  • Monitor and assess academic programs and teaching methodologies.

  • Oversee the development of quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.

  • Evaluate the curriculum, teaching effectiveness, and student satisfaction.

  • Implement feedback mechanisms, gather data, and suggest strategic improvements.

  • Ensure that the university complies with national accreditation standards and pursues international accreditation where applicable.

  • Promote transparency and accountability in all processes related to quality.

SRIUTCH is committed to maintaining close communication with its stakeholders, including students, faculty, alumni, employers, and community members. We seek their input and involvement in shaping the university’s future direction.
