About the activities of the "Scientific Research" department

The department is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education”, the National Program for Personnel Training, decisions of the Chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan decisions and Orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and orders of the University rector, as well as the Regulations of the Department.

Information about the department's activities, issues and shortcomings is periodically presented to the university rector and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

The main tasks of the department:

• Organization and coordination of the university's research activities;

• Promote the effective use of the scientific potential of the university's faculty;

• Expand the scale and quality of scientific research;

• Monitor the implementation of research work according to the established plan;

• Ensuring a close relationship between scientific activity and the educational process;

• Coordination of the university's scientific and practical journal;

• Coordination of the scientific activity of university graduate students, regulation of their dissertation work;

• Carrying out advisory and methodological work on the publication of scientific articles by university faculty in peer-reviewed domestic and foreign scientific journals included in the Web of Science (Scopus) database;

• Planning and organizing, together with the university's departments, scientific and practical conferences and seminars at the university, interuniversity, regional, national and international levels;

• Develop cooperation in the field of scientific research with foreign universities and other research institutes;

• Provide methodological assistance to the university departments in their research work;

• Wide involvement of students in research work;

• Conducting activities of the postgraduate education system at the university.
