Green University – Ecological Sustainability and Innovation at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage

The Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage promotes the "Green University" initiative, which is aimed at preserving nature, introducing green technologies, and forming environmental awareness. We develop environmental education based on the principles of sustainable development, adapt the university infrastructure to environmentally friendly energy sources, and involve the student community in environmental protection. A "Ziyolilar Garden" has been established at our university.

Today, on March 15th, in Jizzakh city, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation organized a tree planting marathon under the slogan "These gardens will become one..." in honor of the "Environmental Protection and Green Economy Year." The marathon aimed to establish the "Ziyolilar Garden." During the marathon, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, Q. Sharipov, and others discussed the goals and objectives of the project and gave the start for universities participating online nationwide to begin planting trees.

The team of the "Silk Road" International University of tourism and cultural heritage actively participated in this marathon by establishing the "Ziyolilar Garden" in the university's yard and planting around 20 different ornamental tree saplings.
