The Silk Road University Alumni Association of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” is an association dedicated to preserving and strengthening the university’s traditions, values, and reputation, expanding cooperation both nationally and internationally, promoting the integration of education, science, and industry for the development of society, and supporting the creative and professional growth of each graduate.
The main goals of the Association are as follows:
· To strengthen professional solidarity among all generations of university students and graduates, unite alumni in serving the interests of individuals, society, and the state, and enhance the social prestige of higher education;
· To promote and encourage active cooperation and engagement between university graduates, the university community, and the Alumni Association;
· To increase the effective use of the intellectual potential of graduates and expand the university’s capacity in training and retraining specialists in accordance with labor market demands;
· To preserve and reinforce university traditions, and to enhance the university’s reputation both nationally and internationally;
· To unite former members who can contribute to the university’s further development.
The main tasks of the Association are:
· To create an information and communication environment that ensures regular contact between graduates and the university, as well as among graduates themselves;
· To facilitate the expansion of social, pedagogical, scientific, and professional relations between the university, its graduates, and members of the Association;
· To represent the university appropriately in professional associations;
· To actively participate in strengthening the leadership role of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in education, science, literature and art, and sports, as well as in training highly qualified specialists in high demand on the intellectual labor market;
· To assist Association members in professional retraining and advanced training both at the university and in educational and research institutions in Uzbekistan and abroad;
· To contribute to the development of effective forms and technologies for organizing education and scientific research within the higher education system;
· To support the university’s youth in career guidance, and assist graduates in job placement and employment distribution;
· To help develop social partnership between the university, employers, government and local authorities, educational institutions, and public organizations by coordinating and implementing their mutual interests and goals;
· To assist in the development of additional professional education at the university;
· To organize and develop new collective forms of information, legal, and promotional services within the Association;
· To create conditions for the implementation of scientific and technical ideas directly related to Association members;
· To assist in organizing alumni meetings, transforming curricula and study programs based on employer feedback, and in summarizing and analyzing employers’ evaluations of the professional knowledge and skills of university graduates;
· To facilitate the establishment of educational, scientific, organizational, entrepreneurial, and business relations between the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and state institutions, as well as foreign organizations;
· The Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Alumni Association also cooperates in defining and implementing the general development prospects of the university.
| Sultonov Shohruh Khayrilloyevich is a 2023 graduate of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, majoring in Tourism. He is currently employed as a Duty Manager at Samarkand International Airport. Alongside his work in the tourism sector, Shohruh Khayrilloyevich is also actively involved in the field of education. He serves as the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs at Oxford International School, a private educational institution in Samarkand. By combining his experience in both tourism and education, he contributes significantly to fostering modern knowledge and professional growth among the younger generation. |
| Ziyodulloyeva Nigina Khasanovna is a 2024 graduate of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Tourism Management at the Westküste University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Nigina is dedicated to advancing her academic and professional expertise to become a qualified specialist in the field of international tourism. |
| Mustafaqulova Sabina Eshnazarovna is a 2025 graduate of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, where she majored in Tourism. As a recipient of a prestigious scholarship awarded by Adam Smith Business School, she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Management and Sustainable Tourism at the University of Glasgow. Enrolled at an institution internationally recognized for its academic excellence and strong global standing, Sabina is committed to developing advanced managerial competencies and specialized expertise in sustainable tourism, with the aim of contributing meaningfully to the advancement of the tourism sector in Uzbekistan |
| Asatillayev Abdullaxon Jamshidovich is a 2025 graduate of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL) at Webster University in Tashkent. Through his graduate education, Abdullohon Jamshedovich is focused on strengthening his professional career grounded in international academic standards and modern expertise. |
| Toshkentov Quvonchbek Akrom ugli is a 2025 graduate of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, where he completed his Master’s degree in Tourism. He is currently working as a Lecturer at the Department of Tourism and Marketing at Karshi State University. In addition to his academic role, he serves as the Coordinator for Startup Projects at the 'Intellectual Students Council' established under the university, where he supports innovative student initiatives and entrepreneurial development. Alongside his teaching and mentoring activities, he is actively involved as a specialist in tourism-related Erasmus+ and other international grant projects implemented at Karshi State University and the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. Through his academic, organizational, and international project work, he contributes to strengthening tourism education, fostering innovation, and expanding global cooperation in higher education. |
| Obidov Shoxrux Rusatm is a 2025 graduate of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, where he earned a Master’s degree in Tourism with a high GPA. Distinguished by exceptional linguistic ability, he is proficient in eight languages, enabling effective communication and collaboration in diverse international, academic, and professional environments. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Economics (08.00.05 — Economics of the Service Sector), with a research focus on advanced economic analysis and service-sector development, and is working at Green University. His academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of economic development, sustainable growth, and higher education, with a strong commitment to applying research-driven insights to real-world challenges. Through his doctoral studies and academic engagement, Shokhrukh aims to contribute to innovative economic research and support sustainable development initiatives, particularly within emerging and transitional economies. |
| Ernazarov Barkamol is a graduate of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and one of the university’s distinguished alumni. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Tourism from the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage in 2023 and continued his academic development by completing a master’s degree at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan between 2023 and 2025, specializing in tourism and cultural heritage management. During his academic years, he actively combined theory with practice, working as an independent tour guide from 2023 to 2024. Since June 2024, he has been employed as a Senior Specialist at the Scientific Research Institute for Tourism Development under the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where he contributes to research, innovation, and sustainable development in the national tourism sector. In addition, since September 2025, he has been teaching tourism at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, sharing his knowledge and practical experience with students and supporting the development of future tourism professionals.. |
| Saidov Abdullo Shuxratovich is a 2022 graduate of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”. He is currently employed at LLC “Air Marakanda”. During his career at the company, he has held positions as an Operations Agent, Dispatcher-Supervisor in the Ground Handling Department, and Specialist in the Safety Compliance Department. At present, he works as a Quality Management System Manager at LLC “Air Marakanda”.
