The position of tutor was introduced on September 1, 2021 after the abolition of the institution of "group leader" and has become a new form of work with young students. A tutor is a specialist who ensures a close connection between the student and the educational system; he helps the student to reveal his potential in the learning process, deeply understand himself, his aspirations and worldview, consciously control his activities and behavior, make the right decisions, developing the necessary competencies and skills.
The tutor promotes a conscious understanding by the student of the consequences of his actions and helps find ways to realize life goals and dreams. The effectiveness of the tutor's work is measured by increasing the student's internal motivation for learning and turning the educational process into an effective one. Simply put, the effectiveness of the educational process in the higher education system is ensured by the cooperation of the teaching staff, the student and the tutor.
