An event on the topic “Forming an intolerance towards the shadow economy” was organized for third-year part-time students at the university. During the event, students were informed that the shadow economy poses a serious obstacle to societal development, causes significant damage to the state budget, disrupts fair competition, and contributes to the growth of corruption.
Therefore, it was emphasized that it is important to develop a strong sense of intolerance towards the shadow economy among students, and that every citizen should respect the law and value honest work.
The fight against corruption is an integral part of this process. The shadow economy is often closely linked with corruption, with each reinforcing the other. For this reason, it was explained that promoting values such as honesty, transparency, and responsibility among young people, and encouraging them to take an active civic position, is one of the most pressing tasks of today.
