Admissions and Marketing Department is a structural unit of the university. The department is responsible for attracting applicants, developing marketing strategies, and enhancing the university’s brand. The department operates in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis (Supreme Assembly), decrees, resolutions, and directives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders, decisions, and directives of the Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions and orders of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the University Charter, the Department’s Regulations, resolutions of the University Senate, and orders of the University Rector. The department is directly subordinate to the First Vice-Rector, in line with the university’s structure.
Key Tasks and Functions of the Department:
Attracting local applicants and informing them about the university’s admission process;
Operating as the university’s Call Centre;
Collaborating with educational centres that prepare applicants for IELTS, CEFR, or TOEFL certification;
Building a database of local enterprises, institutions, and organizations’ needs for highly qualified personnel trained by the university;
Creating a comprehensive information base on the structure, geographic distribution, and potential of educational service consumers (employers, state and non-state organizations, etc.), including analysis of supply and demand for bachelor’s and master’s graduates in relevant fields;
Monitoring the placement of graduates studying under state grants;
Systematically analysing and evaluating the employment processes of university graduates;
Facilitating collaboration between specialized departments and employer organizations in personnel training;
Establishing partnerships with local stakeholders, including gathering feedback from enterprise administrations on the quality and competencies of trained personnel.
