Main Functions of the Chief Specialist of the Graduate Programs Department:
Participate in the development and revision of curricula, course syllabi, and academic-methodological documentation for master’s degree programs.
Provide methodological support to master’s students in matters related to the academic process, selection of academic supervisors, determination of dissertation topics, and the conduct of research activities.
Monitor and analyze the attendance, academic performance, examination results, and research activities of master’s students.
Coordinate the academic processes of master’s programs in collaboration with faculties, departments, and other structural units.
Participate in planning and conducting academic seminars, training sessions, meetings, and methodological events related to master’s programs.
Collect and process statistical data related to master’s programs and prepare reports for the university administration and relevant departments.
Participate in organizing and coordinating state attestation, examination procedures, and activities related to the preparation and defense of master’s dissertations.
Prepare official orders, letters, and internal documents related to master’s programs, and provide oversight and methodological support for maintaining master’s students’ personal files.
Master’s Program
The master’s program lasts 1 year and is divided into 3 trimesters. During the year, students earn 60 credits. Each master’s student writes a master’s thesis. All courses are conducted entirely in English. Students have the opportunity to learn from both international and local qualified professors.

In the 2025/2026 academic year, distance learning has also been organized for the following master’s programs: Tourism and Hospitality, Economics, and Business Administration (MBA).
Admission and Requirements
Admission to the master’s program is competitive: a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required.
Admission is offered on a state grant or contract basis.
Since the program is taught in English, proof of language proficiency is required: international exams (IELTS, TOEFL) or a national CEFR certificate.
Admission of International Students
The share of international students in the master’s program is also significant. Foreign students are admitted based on an interview. Admitted students receive a government scholarship and coverage of accommodation costs. In the 2025/2026 academic year, a total of 185 students are studying across 6 specializations. Among them, 77 are citizens of China, Turkey, Bangladesh, UAE, Pakistan, India, Russian Federation, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Egypt, Malaysia, and other countries.
