In order to ensure the execution of Decree No. PF-207 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 3, 2025, "On comprehensive measures for the effective protection of public health and the national gene pool from drug addiction and drug crimes," a preventive event was organized at the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. In this meeting held on the topic "Prevention of Drug Addiction and Drug Crimes," the university's prevention inspector, S. Isakulov, engaged in dialogue with 1st-year students. During the event, detailed information on the following important issues was provided to the students: Drug addiction and its negative consequences: The harm caused by narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances to human health, psyche, and future. Legal liability: Legal consequences established for crimes related to the illicit trafficking and distribution of narcotic substances. Cybersecurity and vigilance: Rules for staying vigilant against traps designed to draw youth into various illegal groups through the internet and social networks. At the end of the meeting, students received detailed answers from the prevention inspector to the questions that interested them. Young people were urged to be uncompromising against this evil and to spend their free time meaningfully.
