The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Agriculture, the embassies of both countries, and leading higher education institutions.
Within the framework of the event, proposals for new areas of cooperation were discussed between the Silk Road international university of tourism and cultural heritage and its Italian partner institution, Ca' Foscari University of Venice. In particular, meetings were held with Professor Antonio Marcomini, Deputy Pro-Rector for Regional and International Relations, to explore the establishment of a joint undergraduate program in Tourism and Hospitality.
The visit and negotiations are expected to further strengthen bilateral educational and scientific ties and contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists for the tourism sector.
