Today, on March 21, a nationwide Navruz celebration was held at the Central Park of Samarkand city under the slogan “Glorifying Navruz means glorifying humanity.” Professors, staff members, and students of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage took an active part in the event.
A special festive atmosphere was created in the area allocated to our university. Professors and students, dressed in traditional national costumes, decorated a праздничный table in a spring spirit and presented a variety of national dishes.
During the celebration, both international and local students of our university performed Uzbek national songs. In addition, Turkish, Azerbaijani, and Indian national dances were performed with great skill.
During the festivities, the regional governor, Adiz Boboev, closely ознакомился with the presentations prepared by our university team and highly appreciated the high level of organization and creative approach.
