In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree No. PQ-135 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures for the accelerated development of the country’s tourism potential and further increase in the number of domestic and foreign tourists,” a group of scholars from the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and Turkey’s Pamukkale University visited the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center.

During the visit, the scholars familiarized themselves with the construction process of the Imam Bukhari complex and the ongoing landscaping works in the country. Subsequently, an event was organized with the participation of scholars from the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Pamukkale University, and the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center. During the event, opinions were exchanged on the tourism potential of the Payariq district and issues related to the development of pilgrimage tourism. In addition, scientific research topics aimed at increasing tourism potential were formulated, the allocation of places for master’s and doctoral programs was discussed, and an agreement on the exchange of scientific researchers was reached.During the event, foreign specialists got acquainted with the ongoing efforts in Uzbekistan, including prudent reforms and practical measures aimed at maintaining peace, tranquility, and social stability.
