Today, on May 21, a delegation led by Professor He Hongping, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and member of the leading group of the Communist Party of China (CPC) at CAS, visited the ancient and ever-young city of Samarkand, in particular, the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
The guests first got acquainted with the facilities and opportunities created for students on campus, as well as the gallery of national costumes and artworks. The Tourism Academy made a strong impression on the visitors. In particular, the university’s tourism laboratories and libraries drew their admiration.
Currently, a number of Chinese students are studying in various fields at our university. During the visit, Professor He Hongping, Vice President of CAS and CPC leading group member at CAS, also held a meaningful dialogue with the Chinese students studying at our university.
