On March 16, 2026, a seminar was held at our university for specialists in the field of tourism and cultural heritage. During the seminar, B. Jo‘rayev, Chief Specialist of the Fergana Regional Tourism Department, delivered an analytical lecture on further developing the tourism potential of the Fergana region. The speaker provided detailed insights into the region’s rich cultural heritage, modern development trends in tourism, and future investment opportunities.
The seminar, supported by UNESCO Chair “Sustainable Heritage Tourism along the Silk Road” and the academic journal “Journal of Silk Road Tourism Studies,” was moderated by the University Vice-Rector, Prof. T. Zou.
