Professor Tony Zou visited the Republic of Karakalpakstan and was present at the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea Basin under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Aral Sea Discovery Co., Ltd., and the Karakalpakstan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnology. He gave a lecture on the topic of the “green” economy to university professors, teachers, and specialists.
Together with the Director of the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea Region, Bakhitjan Khabibullaev, Professor Zou inspected the experimental fields and closely familiarized himself with the ongoing research on species adapted to the Aral Sea region. In addition, Professor Zou discussed plans to conduct green economic experiments and scientific cooperation projects with Tazabay Uteuliev, General Manager of Aral Sea Co., Ltd. at the Yurt Camp located near the Aral Sea.
