The international symposium dedicated to cultural heritage and environmentally sustainable tourism took place on April 22–24, 2026, in the city of Nukus. At the forum, our university’s Vice-Rector for science and Innovation, Professor Tony Zou, delivered a presentation titled “Pilgrimage Tourism: Development Models and перспективе Directions.”
In his presentation, Professor Tony Zou discussed the theory and practice of pilgrimage tourism, future development trends, advanced tourism models in Uzbekistan, as well as existing challenges and development strategies. The presentation generated strong interest among attendees.
Experts from Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Uzbekistan participated in the international conference.
