On the occasion of Samarkand Day, celebrated on October 18, students of the Logistics-225 group of our university organized a spiritual and educational event titled “Samarkand – the Ornament of the Earth.”
The program featured visuals showcasing the rich history and breathtaking beauty of Samarkand, accompanied by heartfelt songs and dances celebrating love for the Motherland. On stage, students skillfully performed a scene reflecting the splendor of Samarkand and gave an expressive artistic reading about the longing for homeland and the legendary Samarkand bread, inspired by the works of the great poet and ruler Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur.
In addition, talented students presented a model of the Registan ensemble and examples of traditional handicrafts as part of a festive exhibition, adding a unique spirit of national pride to the celebration.
