An open dialogue between the Rector and group leaders of students was organized at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” on the occasion of “Youth Day,” which is held every Thursday of the week.
During the meeting, held with the participation of the University Rector Muhsinjon Kholmukhamedov, students put forward a number of proposals aimed at improving the quality of education. In particular, they suggested organizing language courses to further strengthen foreign language learning, establishing mechanisms for managing and supporting startup projects, encouraging talented youth through various competitions and olympiads, conducting practical training directly at tourism facilities, and organizing meetings with current and former diplomats invited to the university.
Rector Muhsinjon Kholmukhamedov noted that practical processes regarding most of the proposals expressed by students have already begun and emphasized that new initiatives and suggestions will continue to be supported.
At the end of the meeting, the Rector spoke about the wide range of opportunities being created for students by the President today, including preferential loans allocated to finance business projects, and emphasized that today’s graduates should strive not to become job seekers, but job creators.
