As part of Cybersecurity Month, specialists from the Cybersecurity Department of the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs — A. Nasriddinov and E. Rabbimov — visited our university. During the meeting, they provided students with important and practical recommendations on modern digital threats, protecting personal data, safe internet usage, and preventing fraud commonly found on social media.
The specialists emphasized the growing importance of cybersecurity today, highlighting the need to develop digital literacy among young people, increase information awareness, and maintain vigilance in combating cybercrime.
The meeting left strong impressions on the students. Through interactive Q&A sessions, students strengthened their skills in identifying harmful links, spam messages, and false information.
At the end of the event, the experts encouraged students to be responsible in the digital space and to use their capabilities safely and wisely.
