In accordance with the Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-135 dated April 26, 2023, and No. PQ-269 dated July 18, 2024, as well as paragraph 99.4 of the Action Plan No. 01-16-237 of May 6, 2025, issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to enhance the tourism potential of territories assigned to higher educational institutions for the 2025 tourism season, another seminar-training was organized in the Payariq district.

The event was conducted based on the short-term professional development program for target groups developed by the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, under the topic: “Developing Tourism Potential, Opportunities of Rural Tourism, and the Role of Logistics Services in Tourism.”

During the seminar, participants discussed issues related to enhancing the tourism potential of Uzbekistan’s regions through the effective use of natural, cultural, and economic resources. The role of rural tourism in increasing local employment, preserving national values, and ensuring ecological sustainability was particularly emphasized.

Additionally, the importance of the logistics system in tourism — in creating comfortable conditions for tourists through the coordination of transportation, accommodation, and service chains – was highlighted.

At the end of the seminar, participants shared their opinions and suggestions and identified practical areas of cooperation for the further development of rural tourism and logistics services.
