Kazakh students studying at our university actively participated in a roundtable discussion titled “Traditions of Celebrating Nowruz among the Kazakh People.”
The event was attended by the Head of the Youth Affairs Department, N. Abduvakhidova, and the Head of the Global Education Department, I. Kadirova, at Samarkand State University.
During the event, students from Kazakhstan studying at our university delivered presentations and reports highlighting the unique features of Kazakh Nowruz traditions. They provided detailed insights into their national customs and cultural heritage.
The roundtable discussion was aimed at showcasing the historical and cultural unity of the peoples of the region. It emphasized that over the centuries, shared traditions, language, and customs have been formed.
As noted, our ancestors lived for thousands of years in harmony and solidarity as brotherly nations, friends, neighbors, and relatives, creating great states and rich cultures.
This continuity is especially evident in the celebration of Nowruz, which is a common holiday for all.
