The seminar was held at the “Smart Tourism Data System” laboratory, which is located at the Tourism Academy in accordance with the Presidential Resolution No. PQ-269 dated July 18, 2024, and is equipped with modern infrastructure. The “Smart Tourism Data System” laboratory serves as an important tool for conducting in-depth analysis of tourism-related data and supporting informed decision-making for the development of the sector.
Currently, work is underway in the laboratory to launch a platform that will enable real-time access to statistical data on visitors to tourism sites across the country. In addition, the “Admin.sayohat.uz” platform is also being developed.
During the seminar, researchers were provided with detailed information about the technical capabilities of the laboratory, ongoing projects, and effective ways to utilize these resources in scientific research.
