Today, January 14 — on the occasion of Defenders of the Motherland Day, a ceremonial event titled “The Brave Guard the Motherland” was held through the cooperation of the University’s Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment, and the Women’s Council. The event was organized as a symbol of deep respect for the brave sons of the nation who selflessly serve to ensure peace, protect the inviolability of the country’s borders, and defend the Motherland.
The event was attended by university faculty members, tutors, and active students. It began with the performance of the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was followed by expressive recitations of poems glorifying love for the Motherland, loyalty to the nation, and courage. Patriotic songs were performed, and theatrical performances were presented. Each performance vividly reflected boundless love for the homeland, the value of peace, and the honorable duty of the defenders of the Motherland.
Such events play an important role in strengthening feelings of patriotism, bravery, and responsibility among the younger generation and in educating them in the spirit of devotion to the Motherland.
