On February 9 of this year, at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the birth of Mir Alisher Navoi, known as the “Sultan of the Realm of Ghazals,” was held under the leadership of PhD U. Otayarova, a lecturer of the Department of Languages and Global Studies, with the participation of tutors and university students.
During the event, detailed information was provided about the life and rich creative heritage of the great thinker and poet. Navoi’s ghazals and rubai were expressively recited, scenes from his works were staged, and musical performances were presented. This event contributed to strengthening students’ respect and love for our national literature and native language.
