On November 3, 2025, a training seminar titled “Youth, UNESCO, and Financial Literacy” was held at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage for students.
The event was organized on the initiative of the Department of Languages and Global Studies, with the active participation of Y. Abdullayeva, a second-year student majoring in International Relations.
The seminar was attended by Sh. Quchqarov — a financial literacy trainer within the framework of the Finlit.uz project of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Advisor to the Chairman of the Management Board of Turonbank JSCB, and a graduate of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy — as well as representatives of Turonbank.
During the seminar, Mr. Quchqarov spoke about diplomatic etiquette, international economic culture, and the importance of professional responsibility for future diplomats.
He also highlighted the ongoing 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference taking place in Samarkand, emphasizing that this prestigious international event plays an important role in strengthening Uzbekistan’s reputation on the global stage.
Later, participants received practical information on personal finance management, mechanisms of working with loans and deposits, as well as current trends in finance and economics.
