On October 28, 2025, a total of 10 professors and lecturers from the Departments of Languages and Global Studies and Translation and Interpreting Studies of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage participated with their presentations at the international seminar “Modern Turkological Studies”, hosted by the prestigious Istanbul University, which ranks 628th in the QS World University Rankings.
During the event, the parties agreed to collaborate on publishing articles in the Scopus-indexed journal “Türkiyat Mecmuası,” conducting joint scientific projects, and organizing international conferences.
This seminar marked an important step toward strengthening academic cooperation and promoting joint research in the field of Turkology.
