On April 20, 2026, an event titled “We, the Youth, Are Against Corruption” was held at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage. Second-year students and their tutors took part in the event.

During the event, detailed information was provided about the efforts, reforms, and achievements of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of combating corruption.

It was emphasized that fighting corruption is not only the responsibility of relevant authorities but also the moral duty of every patriotic citizen. In addition, explanatory activities were conducted to strengthen students’ legal knowledge and to develop their understanding of their rights and responsibilities.

In the practical part of the event, recommendations were given on making правильные decisions in various legal situations, and practical exercises were organized. University students were actively encouraged to participate in anti-corruption efforts and were advised to report any violations they may encounter within the university to the relevant departments.

It was noted that students are being instilled not only with theoretical knowledge but also with practical skills to follow the principles of honesty, justice, and the rule of law in everyday life. Detailed information was also provided on the negative impact of corruption on societal development, measures to prevent it, and the role of youth in this process.
