On November 6, 2025, a spiritual-educational event titled “The Honor of Women is Under State Protection” was organized among female students by the Women’s Advisory Council of the ''Silk Road'' International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
The event was opened by the Chairwoman of the Council, M. Abbasova, with a lecture analyzing issues related to women’s rights and legal interests, as well as a presentation on “Causes of Conflicts Between Mothers and Daughters in the Family.”
Captain N. Sattorova from the Samarkand City Department of Internal Affairs delivered a lecture on the negative consequences of crimes committed by women, identifying victims of pressure and violence, and preventing such cases, emphasizing that this issue is one of today’s most urgent social problems.
A lecture on “Girls’ Hygiene and Healthy Lifestyle, Early Marriage, and the Negative Consequences of Cousin Marriage” was presented by D. Mamatova, a youth gynecologist and juvenile specialist from the Samarkand City Central Multidisciplinary Polyclinic.
University psychologist D. Turdiyeva spoke on “Psychological Assistance for Women Who Are Victims of Pressure and Violence.” She also conducted an uplifting mini-training aimed at building self-confidence and self-awareness, boosting the participants’ morale. Several awareness-raising video clips were also shown during the event.
Artistic performances by members of the “Qizlarjon” and “Leader Girls” clubs brought joy to the audience. Students had the opportunity to ask experts questions of interest and receive detailed answers.
The event left a strong impression on everyone.
