According to the decree adopted by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on February 5, the 690th anniversary of the birth of the great statesman and commander, patron of science, culture and arts, Sahibqiran Amir Temur will be widely celebrated in our country this year.
In accordance with the decree, April has been declared the “Month of Amir Temur” in our country every year.
On April 9–10 of this year, an international scientific conference titled “The Role and Significance of Amir Temur and the Timurid Civilization in World History and Culture” will be held at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.
In addition, the scientifically annotated text of the work “Temur’s Code (Temur Tuzuks)” will be published in Persian, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Spanish and Russian languages.
Postage stamps and envelopes dedicated to the 690th anniversary of the birth of Sahibqiran Amir Temur, calendars and a series of visual information materials will be created, and commemorative, silver and gold jubilee coins will be put into circulation.
