On October 17, 2025, at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, an urgent event titled “We are against violence” was held by the Women’s Advisory Council. At the event, the Chairperson of the Women’s Advisory Council, M. Abbasova, spoke and paid special attention to gender equality issues, causes of domestic violence, and its solutions in her report titled “We are in favor of protecting women from pressure and violence.”
Also, the Head of the Scientific Department of the university, the Dean of the “Tourism Management” faculty, and the university psychologist shared their opinions on the topic.
During the event, a video clip about combating violence and the necessity for women to know their rights and responsibilities was shown. At the end of the event, female students received answers to all their questions.
