Based on the tasks outlined in the Presidential Decrees of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ–135 dated April 26, 2023, and No. PQ–269 dated July 18, 2024, a series of meetings were organized in general education schools in the district with the aim of increasing the tourism potential of the territories assigned to higher education institutions, promoting tourism culture among youth, and sparking their interest in the sector.
During these meetings:
Information was provided about the region’s tourism potential, historical and cultural heritage, and natural resources;
The prospects of the tourism sector, opportunities created for youth, and directions of cooperation with higher education institutions were explained;
To spark students’ interest in the field of tourism, conversations, Q&A sessions, and presentations were held.
These meetings generated great interest among students and teachers of School No. 34 in the Samarkand district and are expected to contribute to the growth of the region's tourism potential.
