The first stage of student life is a period of gaining knowledge, research, and getting acquainted with new sources. For this purpose, first-year students visited the Regional Information and Library Center named after A. S. Pushkin. During the visit, the students got closely acquainted with the library’s rich literary and scientific collection, modern information resources, and service system. They were given detailed information about the opportunities of the center, electronic library services, and the rules of use.
In addition, personal ID cards, which allow the students to use the library services for three years, were solemnly presented to them.
This visit not only opened the door to the treasury of knowledge for the students, but also became an important step in forming a culture of reading, as well as strengthening their interest in independent reading and research.
