Based on Joint Resolution No. 39 dated July 18, 2025, by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tourism Committee under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a short-term training course titled the "Young Guides School" was organized under the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
This one-month course was designed for students of higher and vocational education institutions, with a total of 17 young guides participating. The main goal of the course was to support youth, provide them with practical skills through a “mentor-apprentice” approach with experienced guides, and help them spend their summer holidays meaningfully.
The graduation ceremony was held in a festive atmosphere with the participation of university leadership, professors, and instructors. During the event, certificates were awarded to the graduates for successfully completing the course, and useful recommendations were provided for their future careers.
This project marked an important step in enhancing the professional training of youth, expanding the pool of qualified personnel in the tourism sector, and promoting national cultural heritage.
