Today, on December 19, the prevention inspector of the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Sh. Qurbonov, and psychologist D. Turdiyeva visited the Samarkand Tourism and Cultural Heritage Technical School and organized a legal and psychological event entitled “We Are Against the Violation of Children’s Rights!”.
Sh. Qurbonov provided detailed information on children’s rights as stipulated in the legislation of Uzbekistan, spoke about how young people should behave in various aspects of life, and explained the consequences of any violations of the law. He also emphasized that every child is under the protection of the state and the law.
Psychologist D. Turdiyeva discussed the psychological characteristics of adolescence and emotional instability, and practically demonstrated techniques that help with self-expression. A training session on emotional intelligence—responsible for understanding and managing human emotions—was also very effective and beneficial.
In addition, it was agreed, in cooperation between the university and the technical school psychologists, to designate one day each month as “Psychologist’s Day” for individual work with students.
