A new meeting was organized at the initiative of the “Step into the Future Center” in order to create broader opportunities for graduates of higher education institutions who wish to launch entrepreneurial activities. The event was attended by U. Amanbayev, Manager of the “Step into the Future Center” of “O‘zmilliybank” JSC Samarkand Regional Main Department, S. Salokhiddinov, Chief Specialist of the regional branch of the “Youth – Our Future” Foundation, as well as representatives of the center under the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.

The event was held as part of the implementation of Resolution No. PQ-61 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to support the employment of graduates of higher education institutions.”

During the meeting, startup and business projects developed by graduating students were reviewed, and detailed information was provided regarding financing procedures, conditions for obtaining concessional loans, and the stages of formalization. Specialists also gave comprehensive answers to all questions raised by the students.

To date, the center has been providing practical assistance to graduating youth in the process of obtaining concessional loans. So far, a total of 13 graduates have presented their startup and business ideas, of which 9 projects have been approved by “O‘zmilliybank.” To implement these projects, concessional loans in the amount of a total of 120 million soums have been allocated.

This initiative serves as an important step for young people to start their own businesses, ensure their employment, and become competitive entrepreneurs in the future.
