A meeting was held at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage with representatives of the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent.
During the meeting, the parties held a bilateral dialogue on issues related to the implementation of Presidential Resolution No. PQ-135 dated April 26, 2023, particularly the introduction of a modern cluster system in the tourism sector, the effective integration of education with practical training, and the preparation of highly qualified specialists in line with international standards.
The parties exchanged views on the activities of the University and the UN Tourism Academy, advanced practices in forming and managing tourism clusters, as well as international approaches applied in hotel and tourism management.
At the end of the meeting, the participants discussed further practical steps aimed at establishing long-term and effective cooperation between the two educational institutions, developing joint initiatives, and promoting innovative approaches in the tourism sector.
