On December 5, the “Day of Chinese Culture” event was held in Samarkand. Within the framework of the event, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of China, Lu Yingchuan, held a friendly meeting with Chinese students studying at our university and showed interest in the opportunities provided for them, their education, and their living conditions.
Our university’s Vice-Rector, Zou Tongqian, informed Deputy Minister Lu Yingchuan about the development processes of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
During the “Day of Chinese Culture” event, Deputy Minister of China Lu Yingchuan and Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Murodjon Majidov took part and exchanged views on the role of cultural exchange in strengthening mutual relations and further deepening friendship between the two peoples.
At the end of the event, Chinese teachers and students studying at our university watched a special concert program dedicated to traditional Chinese music.
